Erica and I headed down to Belle Meade on Sunday to take a few photos before I headed into the newsroom for that night’s production. We only had about 45 minutes, but I think we made the best of it.

The Athenian Sing took place in Langford Auditorium on Sept. 16, 2011. The Melodores and Patrick Thomas tied for first place, with the top three winners donating their award to a charity of their choice.

Just a single image from an fire drill I shot the other day for the paper – thought it came out pretty well, considering this was shot at night with streetlamps as light.
Props to the girl giving me a “Why are you sitting in the grass and pointing something at me?” face.
The Commodores defeated the Elon Phoenix 45-14 in their first game of the season.
